Description
Physics helps us understand how the world around us works. In Fascinating Physics, we will study the laws of nature governing movement, energy, and sound. Further, we will study the forces of electricity, magnetism, gravity, and the atomic nucleus. As the course progresses, you will begin to understand how mathematical formulas summarize and predict events around us.
What grades are the Fascinating Education courses designed for?
Fascinating Physics is designed to cover what you would normally expect to find in a high school course. Fascinating Physics requires a student to be somewhat proficient in mathematics. You don’t have to know everything. You will be introduced to concepts and explanations on how to work problems; but your student should be comfortable with mathematical concepts and how to apply them. In particular, it will be helpful to have taken algebra, geometry, trigonometry and calculus; but it is not mandatory in order to understand the concepts underlying Physics.
